After having played with it a bit I did find two things that did not come across in the upgrade:
- The AmazonMp3 iTunes plugin did not make it. A simple install fixed that.
- My copy of EyeTV 2.5.1 was flaky. It seemed to survive the upgrade OK initially but it would sometimes lockup. After reinstalling it seems to be fine.
While digging through the EyeTV preferences I stumbled upon a feature I’d missed in the 2.5 upgrade: wireless sharing. Pointing to a special web address brings up a webpage where you can navigate the recorded shows and wirelessly stream them to another machine. I fired it up on my iPhone and was able to watch recorded TV without problems all over my house.
Nice perk for a point release feature!
