Funny. When I first saw the new Hulk trailer I thought to myself: “Why are they making another one when they made a really good one a just few years ago?” I guess Pat and I are in the minority of liking that one.
Interesting write-up on not hating the Ang Lee version at Slate.

I watched about half of the 2005 one. I was about to give up when they fought the hulk-dogs, but I waded through that, finally falling asleep after the 200th time the Hulk bounced around the desert like a giant rubber pickle. I was gonna watch the end the next day, but I realized I didn’t care and sent it back to Netflix.
The current one looks even worse, so I’m not even gonna bother. Superhero movies don’t seem to have anything new to offer. How many times can I watch a big CGI something-or-other knock down a building?

I loved the 2005 one.
2009 is going to be a good year for comics if you’ve been paying any attention: watchmenmovie.com FTW!

I’m cautiously optimistic with the Watchmen given the first trailer but that’s going to be a really hard one to pull off.
