My children Jonathan (6) and Meredith (almost 4) are best buddies and play together all the time. However, even if they are playing in the same place with the same toys sometimes it’s clear that two completely different games are being played…
Setup: Jonathan with Scorponok (Transformers Scorpion Decepticon) and several US rangers and Meredith with Maris Brood (Star Wars expanded universe Jedi) with her dual Tonfa lightsabers:
Jonathan: “Oh No! The scorpion is attacking!” (sounds of Jonathan’s version of gunfire)
Meredith: “All my friends are mermaids!”
