Good news: Seattle water customers are going to get a $45 settlement check for the city charging water customers for fire hydrants instead of taking the revenue out of the general city fund.
Bad news: The city does not have the money so they are going to charge the customers a $59 surcharge with the extra $14/customer going to the lawyers.
